JJ’s Broiler Kauai is a sports bar-type restaurant on Kalapaki Beach in Lihue, Kauai that features a variety of foods including steaks and seafood. The food is actually better than the dated sports bar decor would indicate, and the views of Kalapaki Beach will excuse any shortcomings in furnishings or fine dining. The menu features local favorites including Kauai Pig and Cabbage, Kauai Pig Wrap and Island Fish while the dinner menu includes Crab Stuffed Salmon, Sizzling New York Steak and Tender Filet Mignon with Garlic Butter Scampi. Overall, the food is serviceable while the view is impeccable. And it’s a nice place to catch a game on the big screen while also having Kalapaki Beach as a backdrop.
