With delicious food, good vibes and friendly vendors, the Anaina Hou Farmers Market is the perfect place for a weekend morning outing.
The Anaina Hou Farmers Market is open every Saturday morning from 9:00am – 12pm in Kilauea, Kauai at the Anaina Hou Community Park.
The market features more than 40 island vendors selling Kauai-grown produce and Kauai-made crafts. Shrimp kabob, Asian cuisine, fresh fish, eggs, goat cheese, baked goods, frosties, honey, chocolate, plants, pineapples and papayas are some of the items that might be found at the market.
The Anaina Hou Community Park is a gathering place for Kauai’s North Shore community. The park is perhaps best known as the location for the mini golf course and botanical garden. The park hosts a variety of community events including the Ahi Lele Fire Show, concerts, and days dedicated to the keiki (children). A recent addition to the park is the Anaina Hou Playground built with structures that illustrate Hawaiian history. The trailhead for the pleasant Wai Koa Loop Trail is also located at the community center.

The entrance to the Anaina Hou Community Park features a large Aloha that is a favorite location for Instagram photos. Watch out for traffic if you decide to take a photo at the spot.
Unfortunately for market goers with children, the Anaina Hou Playground (located adjacent to the market) is closed on Saturdays.
